Sponsored by Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, organized by School of Architectural Engineering, Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology and co-organized by School of Civil Engineering, Foshan University, School of Civil Engineering, Wuyi University, Architecture and Civil Engineering Institute of Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology, Maoming Civil Engineering and Architecture Society, Guangdong Structural Safety and Inspection Engineering Center as well as Financial Investment and Construction Project Management Center of Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, the 4th International Conference on Applied Mechanics and Engineering Structures (AMES 2025) successfully concluded online on March 29, 2025, bringing together experts and scholars for a comprehensive exploration of innovative advancements in applied mechanics and engineering structures.

The event featured a distinguished lineup of keynote speakers, each presenting their cutting-edge research and insights into critical topics.

Prof. Qinxi Dong from Hainan University presented on "Advances of Energy Efficiency in Infrastructure and Integrated Enclosure Systems," illuminating current trends and advanced technologies in energy-efficient structural systems.

Prof. Hong Yuan of the Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology focused on offshore engineering, sharing his research on the axial compression characteristics of novel multi-tubular composite columns that promise to enhance structural integrity in marine environments.

Prof. Junxian Zhao from South China University of Technology addressed seismic engineering with his talk on "Seismic Energy Dissipation and Damage-Control in Building Structures: Challenges and Solutions," highlighting innovative strategies for mitigating damage during seismic events.

Prof. Jianghong Xue of Jinan University explored the nonlinear mechanical responses and active control of multi-scale composite structures in her presentation, which examined the synergistic effects of multi-field coupling and defect evolution on the static and dynamic responses of these complex structures.

In addition to the keynote addresses, the conference also hosted seven oral presentations featuring researchers from esteemed institutions such as Beijing University of Technology, Southwest Petroleum University, Chengdu University of Technology, Xinjiang University, and Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology. These presentations covered a range of topics, showcasing the latest research and collaborative efforts in the field of applied mechanics and engineering structures.

As AMES 2025 came to a close, attendees departed with renewed inspiration and a wealth of knowledge to apply in their respective fields. The engaging discussions and innovative presentations underscored the vital role of collaboration in advancing the study of applied mechanics and engineering structures. The organizing committee extends its heartfelt thanks to all participants, keynote speakers, and sponsors for their invaluable contributions to this year's event.


由广州理工学院主办,广州理工学院建筑工程学院承办,并得到了佛山大学交通与土木建筑学院、五邑大学土木建筑学院、广东石油化工学院建筑工程学院、茂名市土木建筑学会、中新广州知识城财政投资建设项目管理中心、广东省结构安全与检测工程中心等多所院校及单位的大力协办的第四届应用力学与工程结构国际学术会议(AMES 2025)于2025年3月29日成功在线举办。此次会议汇聚了众多专家和学者,共同深入探讨应用力学与工程结构领域的创新进展。


会议邀请了多位杰出的学者进行主旨报告,他们分别分享了各自的前沿研究和对关键主题的深入见解。首先是来自海南大学的董勤喜院士,他发表了题为基础设施节能与结构一体围护体系的现状及先进技术”的精彩报告,阐明了当前能源高效结构体系的趋势和先进技术;广州理工学院的袁鸿教授则通过“面向海洋工程的新型复材多管组合柱轴压特性研究”,为海洋工程复合材料应用提供了重要思路;华南理工大学的赵俊贤教授带来了题为“建筑结构消能减震与损伤控制:挑战与对策”的报告,系统性地剖析了消能减震技术面临的挑战与创新对策,为以后的研究提供了重要参考;最后是来自暨南大学的薛江红教授,分享题为“多场耦合与缺陷演化协同作用下跨尺度复合材料结构的非线性力学性能与智能调控——从宏观复合结构到微纳板壳的跨尺度结构静动力响应分析”的报告,她系统构建的多场耦合分析框架和提出的智能调控方法,为复合材料跨尺度研究指明了新的方向。


本次会议还设有7个口头报告,自北京工业大学、西南石油大学、成都理工大学、新疆大学和广州理工学院等知名高校的研究人员分享了他们在应用力学与工程结构领域的最新研究成果。这些报告涵盖了广泛的主题,为与会者呈现了丰富的学术盛宴。


本次会议不仅为研究者们提供了一个交流平台,也促进了各高校之间的合作与创新。随着会议的顺利结束,AME2025在学术交流上取得了丰硕成果,展现了应用力学与工程结构领域的广阔前景。我们期待明年的会议,期待更多的创新思想与合作机会。
